Not Too Long in the Bluetooth

Contrary to everyone's expectations (including mine) the aged brain cells have not yet expired. Yesterday I reported a limited success with the new mobile phone. I have christened it the "Amazon" because there are large areas still unexplored and unknown to Kojak. I had made a small inroad - more a small inpath to be truthful - by taking 2 photos with it.  My initial euphoria was quickly quashed on my return home when I discovered that the folded scrap of paper that purported to be the instructions proffered not one jot of information on what to do with the damned things once I'd taken them.

Today I followed up the one clue, a brief mention of Bluetooth.  I mounted an expedition into the impenetrable jungle that inhabits the innards of the mobile. I don't know who designed the layout but his or her sense of logic is completely alien to mine. Eventually I found "Bluetooth" Now I had experienced this on my previous mobile and software was provided with delightfully clear instructions but I wasn't sure whether that Bluetooth would work with this Bluetooth. I've never had blueteeth so my knowledge of them is naturally limited. Nevertheless and more by good luck than judgement my phone suddenly became a "paired" device and somehow, I'm still not sure how, the photos were transferred. Any sense of relief was tempered soon after by 2 things. Firstly, I was not overly impressed with the quality of the photos. Was it the freezing fog or  just a duff camera? Secondly was the realisation that although I'd got Bluetooth turned on I had no idea how to turn it off. It took me 2 hours to find out ...
